Meanderers January Blues Drift

A drift is a way of walking taken from the Situationist International movement, as a way of walking and exploring a space without using a planned route or typical directions. We will wander, meander and amble through the city, without a specific walk leader or end goal in mind, simply walking however the group decides, and this time we will be letting the colour blue make some of our directional decisions! This practice is a great way to explore a new place, notice new things about a well-known area, get some fresh air and socialise in a relaxed setting. We will begin the walk from The Bandstand in the Arboretum, and wemay find somewhere to have a snack or drink and a chat after the walk, if the group would like.
