About the event
Come and join Meanderers Summer Trip to Matlock Bath! We're breaking from tradition as this meanderers walk features more of a planned route. However, we will still have plenty of opportunity to explore things that we stumble upon on the way.
Plan for the day
Meeting at Nottingham train station at 9:15am we will catch the 9:30am train to Matlock.
From Matlock we can have a little look around the town and then head up over on the cliff path towards Matlock bath. We will take this route slow and steady.
At Matlock Bath we'll get some chips and other treats and soak up the riverside atmosphere. Bring a packed lunch if you prefer.
For those that are up for a bit of a longer walk, we will head along to Cromford to the charming Scarthin books. Otherwise you can catch a train from Matlock bath back to Nottingham (departing…
