Meanderers X Wordplay Walkshop
Join us for a day of walking and words as part of Nottingham Poetry festival! We will begin the day with a Poetry Walk, followed by food and a poetry themed creative workshop.

Join the first Meanderers Walkshop in collaboration with Wordplay at City Arts, as part of Nottingham Poetry festival. Meanderers Walkshops are a curated day involving a creative walk, social eating and a making workshop. We will begin with a poetry walk from City Arts, expect to hear some poems inspired by the places we pass as well as some poetry prompts for you to begin writing your own text pieces. A word themed lunch will be provided for everyone to enjoy, followed by a poetry and collage zine making workshop. The workshop will allow you to create your own small poetry publication using a range of techniques, for you to take home with you!
Meanderers is an organisation focusing the connections between walking, creativity, wellbeing and community. This session will be lead by socially engaged artist Amelia Daiz.
Please arrive promptly at City Arts at 11 so that the walk can leave on time. The food provided will be vegan, please enquire through email for gluten free or other allergies. The walks route will aim to be as accessible as possible, if you have any specific accessibility concerns please contact amelia.daiz@outlook.com
